Sony DSR-50P
The DSR-50P is a new DVCAM portable recorder built for a
wide range of applications that include ENG/EFP production,
event/wedding recording, evidence gathering, corporate communications,
etc.
You can record and play back DV format (SP mode only) as
well as DVCAM.
It is capable to record long-duration by recording DV format.
It is 1.5 times longer than DVCAM.
LCD monitor lets you check as you go.
You can use the high resolution LCD colour monitor to view
the image as it records, or to check the playback picture
on the location. It also makes setting menus and audio recording
levels easier.
26-pin camera connector.
Superb picture quality cameras such as DXC-637 or DMX-M7 can
be revived having digital recording.
PAL and NTSC playback.
It is useful to check the content of the tapes.
i.LINK Interface
You can use this unit as an upload/download VTR for non-linear
editing system.
Long hours recording
The power consumption is low (18w), so that it can record
for 6 hours continuously by using BP-L90A.
Compact, lightweight, versatile positioning with innovative
design
The unit weighs only 3.9kg (5.2kg with BP-L90A), so you can
carry this unit easily. You can also use it standing up with
connectors, all alligned on the side.
