Sony SRW-1 Field Recorder
As one of the newest members in the CineAlta™ lineup,
you can expect only the highest quality CineAlta images from
the new Sony SRW-1 HD Digital Video Cassette Recorder and
the SRPC-1 HD Digital VTR Adapter. Together, they form the
first Sony full-bandwidth 4:4:4 (RGB) portable VTR system.
This new system further enhances the flexibility of the CineAlta
products in field production applications.
Designed to comply with ISO/IEC 14496- 2:2001 and FDAM 1:2001
standards, the SRW-1 offers virtually lossless 1080-line high-definition
recordings at multiple frame rates on the very latest HDCAM-SR
tape media.
The SRW-1/SRPC-1 connects to its companion HDC-F950 camera,
via a single fiber-optic cable, to create a convenient, portable,
full-bandwidth 4:4:4 (RGB) image capturing system. The SRW-1
can also be configured with the Sony
HDW-F900 HDCAM camcorder to record HD 4:2:2 component
images.
